Topuria aims to be a three-weight division champion
UFC titles in featherweight, lightweight and welterweight, that’s the goal of reigning 145 lbs champ Ilia Topuria.
“Probably a three-weight world champion, this is my goal,” Topuria recently said. “You’re not going to see me in the welterweight division like this, skinny. You’re going to see me different. That’s the goal. Move up to the lightweight division, get that belt, then move up to the welterweight division.”

Caio Borralho says he’s ’in talks’ to fight Israel Adesanya
UFC middleweight prospect Caio Borralho claims he’s in talks with Israel Adesanya about this coming February at UFC 312 in Sydney.
“I want to fight Izzy. We are in talks with UFC, but nothing confirmed yet,” Borralho told MMA Junkie. “But that’s the fight we want. I think that’s the fight that makes sense. Adesanya already fought all the guys from (the) top five. Just me and (Nassourdine) Imavov he didn’t fight, but Imavov didn’t (have) a good fight last time, so I think they’re thinking about me. Let’s see what the UFC wants.”
Cain Velasquez gets new sentencing hearing date
Former UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez has a new sentencing date. Court records reveal that date will be Jan. 24.
The ex-champ was arrested in 2022 after he allegedly pursued and shot at a man, accused of molesting Velasquez’s then 4-year-old son.
