On Saturday November 2, UFC returns to Canada with a big fight card.
In the main event, former flyweight champion Brandon Moreno returns to action to face rising star Amir Albazi in a pivotal five-rounder. Moreno enters the octagon with two razor-thin back-to-back losses while Albazi is undefeated in the UFC with five straight wins in the promotion. The two were scheduled to clash in February but the fight was canceled due to an Albazi neck injury.
Just as interesting is the five round women’s flyweight co-main event, where former strawweight champion ”Thug” Rose Namajunas takes on top dog Erin Blanchfield in a potential title contender bout. The fight marks the third in 2024 for the former champ.
The main card also features knockout king Derrick Lewis who will take on Jhonata Diniz in a heavyweight matchup.
Norwegian fighter Ivana Petrovic returns
The prelims will feature another interesting women’s flyweight matchup where Canada’s Jamey-Lyn Horth takes on Norwegian prospect Ivana Petrovic. Both fighters are 1-1 in the UFC and are looking to build on their winning streaks.
”I know Jamey Lyn is a tough opponent,” Petrovic told Frontkick about the matchup. ”I expect her to come in hungry for a win just like I am.”

UFC Moreno vs. Albazi Fight card
The UFC Moreno vs. Albazi fight card is broadcasted by ESPN+ in the US. The prelims starts at 4 p.m. ET, while the main card starts at 7 p.m. ET.
