After this past Saturday’s UFC Charlotte three fighters, who all suffered defeats, were removed from the roster*.
Let’s take a closer look at the removed fighters!

Chase Sherman

Heavyweight veteran Chase Sherman struggled in his second run in the UFC between 2020 and 2023. At UFC Charlotte this past Saturday he lost a unanimous decision to Karl Williams.
The defeat left him at 2-6 in the octagon in his second UFC run.
Sherman first competed in the promotion between 2016 and 2018 when he pulled off a record of 2-5.
All in all the heavyweight veteran is 4-11 in his two stints.
Ji Yeon Kim

Ji Yeon Kim made her UFC debut in 2017 and fought ten times in the octagon, pulling together a record of 3-7. Her most notable win was a second-round KO against Nadia Kassem in 2019.
The 33-year-old South Korean left the promotion with five straight losses.

UFC veteran Jessica-Rose Clark is also removed from the roster after being submitted with a rear-naked choke in the final minute of her fight against Tainara Lisboa.
The 35-year-old Australian has struggled with injuries during her years and left the promotion on a three-fight losing skid, with a record of 4-5. Her most notable wins came against Bec Rawlings and Paige VanZant.
”Regardless of the outcome, there’s nowhere else I’d rather be,” Clark wrote on Instagram after her last fight. ”You’ll see me on your tv screens again real soon.”
