Wolf Fight Promotion 7 – Madenjian wins pro debut with first-round submission

We just saw Wolf Fight Promotion 7 take place in Jönköping, Sweden.

In the welterweight main event Sevan Madenjian and Rasmus Elehrs clashed in a highly anticipated bout. The fight started at a high pace and three and a half minutes into the first round, Madenjian was able to secure a rear-naked-choke that forced Elehrs to tap.

In the co-main event, hometown hero Alfred Olsson defeated Norway’s Niwar Barwari with a dominant performance.

”I will turn pro next,” Olsson promised in the post-fight interview.

Beside the main event, Wolf Fight Promotion 7 featured a bunch of entertaining fights.

Amateur welterweights Bajad Damarkani and Oscar Lövgren clashed in an even three-round battle. Both fighters gave it all in the cage, but Damarkani eventually stood as the winner via unanimous decision.

We also saw Linus Jönsson secure a quick first-round submission, as well as William Swärd deliver his third second-round TKO in the promotion.
