Rafael Kveldstad wins with first-round submission
Junior middleweight Rafael Kveldstad continued to impress as he faced Bulgaria’s Radomir Stoyanov in the semi finals.
Kveldstad started strong with solid kicks, and when Stoyanov went for a takedown, he quickly turned things around to secure a tight guillotine that forced the Bulgarian to tap immediately.
Solid performance by the Swede who will face Tagir Machmudov from Czech Republic in the finals.

Emma Schiöler fought well against reigning champ
Emma Schiöler took on reigning champion Sabrina De Sousa from Bahrain in the featherweight semi finals.
Schioler was determined and showed heart throughout three rounds, but De Sousa was a number too big. After three tough rounds, De Sousa stood as the winner via unanimous decision.

Hanna Palmquist lost gruelling fight
Flyweight Hanna Palmquist had a flying start in the tournament with two straight first-round finishes.
In the semi finals, the Swede faced Australia’s Faine Mesquita Pereira. The Swede fought well, but after three tough rounds, the Australian stood as the winner via unanimous decision.

Yrsa Sandin lost to tough British fighter
Lightweight Yrsa Sandin entered the tournament in the semi finals, as she faced the tough Isabelle McGaughey from England.
Sandin showed heart during three rounds, but the confident McGaughey dominated the fight with her slick boxing, and eventually stood as the winner via unanimous decision.
