Jonnie Andersson takes on ”Gigante” in the Excellence FC 4 main event

On October 15, Linköping’s own Jonnie Andersson will face Brazil’s Weasley ”Gigante” De Souza in the Excellence Fighting Championship 4 main event.
Hometown hero Andersson is a fast and explosive heavyweight prospect that represented the Swedish National Team. He made a big impression in his professional debut at Excellence FC 3 earlier this year, with a massive first-round KO against Salif Diop.
His Brazilian opponent ”Gigante” is a tall, heavy and dangerous fighter with a solid ground game.

Excellence FC 4 – Current fight card
Already announced for Excellence Fighting Championship is a co-main event featuring middleweights Daniel Karlsson and Addis Saljevic, who both represented the Swedish National Team and are experienced amateur fighters.
- Heavyweight main event: Jonnie Andersson vs. Weasley De Souza
- Middlweight co-main event: Daniel Karlsson vs. Addis Saljevic
- Welterweight: Linus Lindeberg vs. Ebrima Faal
- Lightweight: Jafar Yousifi vs. Anton Ringvall (Amateur)
- Featherweight: Gustav Holmqvist vs. Raham Zorro Kafie (Amateur)
Broadcasted by Fighter TV
The event will be officially broadcasted by Fighter TV – a Swedish streaming service for fight fans that covers a variety of regional Swedish MMA events.
The promotion was founded by Swedish MMA coach and veteran referee Anders “Taxi” Ohlsson and social media influencer Samuel Ericsson, who’s also a professional fighter in the Karate Combat organization.
