The main event for Battle of Botnia was just announced! Home-grown, northern prospect Theodor ”Simba” Berggren is now set to headline against visiting Moldovan Dorin Paladin!

Berggren is a product of Renyi MMA Team in Umeå, fostered by veteran Fernando Flores.
Competing professionally since 2021, Berggren lined up two straight finishes in less than two minutes each – earning wins over both Tobias Wallberg and Ebrima Faal. Following that Berggren hit the first bump in the road of his career, losing a decision to Christian Stigenberg.
After a lengthy rehab period for both his shoulder and knee, Berggren returned last month at BoB 8, finishing Markus Mäki-Ventelä inside a round. Berggren now holds a 3-1 record as a pro.
Paladin has never been to the judges scorecards as a pro, winning his pro debut via submission and his subsequent fight via first round knockout. He stands at 2-0, hoping to spoil the party for Berggren.
