The final Allstars Fight Night event of 2023 just took place in Stockholm. The place was packed from the start and the electric atmoshpere reminded of an underground rock show.

The stacked card delivered everything it promised and then some. In the main event, Allstars own Bernardo Sopai took on Brazil’s Geovane Vargas for the inaugural bantamweight title.

Sopai landed an explosive kick to start the fight. When the Brazilian rushed in, the Allstars fighter clipped him with a counter hook that took the fight to the ground.

Sopai controlled the action and landed shots while he was looking for a submission. By the end of the round he landed some violent ground-and-pound that forced the referee to stop the fight.

Bernardo Sopai is now the new AFN bantamweight champion!

“Dana White, what are you waiting for? I’m the best in the world,” Sopai said after the fight. “UFC next!”
