Two Scandinavian light heavyweights fans have wanted to see go pro for months are Norway’s Arlind Berisha and Swede Mustafa Atrakchi – now they will do so, against each other, at Fight Club Rush 17.
The bout was announced via FCR channels, the event goes down at Fyrishov Arena in Uppsala on September ninth.
Berisha is one of Norway’s most accomplished amateur MMA fighters. He bulldozed his opponents in the 2021 IMMAF World Cup, winning gold. He has since also won titles at heavyweight and light heavyweight in Cage Warriors Academy South East as well as a title in Gorilla Fight Club.
Atrakchi is a bronze medalist in the Swedish MMA Championships and has also represented the Swedish National Team in amateur MMA, winning bronze in the World Championships. He trains out of Renyi MMA in Umeå alongside the likes of Fernando Flores and Theodor Berggren amongst others.

FCR 17 preliminary fight card
FCR 17 takes place on September 9 at Fyrishov Arena in Uppsala and will be headlined by a flyweight title bout between Renato Vidovic and Jonny Touma.
- Flyweight title bout: Renato Vidovic vs. Jonny Touma
- Welterweight bout: Toni Lampinen vs. Christian Stigenberg
- Bantamweight bout: Ali Yazbeck vs. Shoeb Akrami
- Welterweight bout: Nabbe Malki vs. TBA
- Featherweight bout: Dimitris Dimitriadis vs. Raymond Johansson
- Women’s strawweight bout: Josefine Modig vs. Nina Back
- Welterweight bout: Christopher Bajo vs. Daniel Karlsson
- Lightweight: Erik Wahrolen vs. Ibrahim Milli
- Light heavyweight: Arlind Berisha vs Mustafa Atrakchi
