Sweden’s Elin Öberg to fight in OKTAGON MMA on July 20

After four fights in UAE Warriors, Swedish MMA fighter Elin Öberg goes to OKTAGON MMA.

Her promotional debut will go down at OKTAGON 59 on July against Brazil’s Mileide Simplicio. The fight will take place at strawweight.

Öberg enters the fight with a 5-3 record and comes from a loss in UAE Warriors.

OKTAGON 59 also features the quarter-finals of the MMA champions league, where the OKTAGON lightweight champ Rony Paradeiser takes on former KSW champion Daniel Torres. The card will also feature the quarter-finals between Losene Keita and Predrag Bogdanovic.

The event takes place at the Peugot Arena in Bratislava, Slovakia, on July 20.

The OKTAGON bantamweigh title bout between Felipe Lima and former champion Jonas Mågård was scheduled to go down at OKTAGON 59. However, Lima vacated his belt and pulled out of the fight to take a short-notice fight in the UFC this past weekend. He submitted Muhammad Naimov at UFC Saudi Arabia.
