Fight Club Rush (FCR) 19 is booked for Stockholm, Sweden on February 24t and the event just received a banger of a fight announcement! Sweden’s Raymond Johansson will face Finland’s Waltteri Häkkinen in a Nordic derby between fighters who have never gone the distance as pros.
Johansson got famous following a documentary series on Swedish national television that documented his preparations to go pro. Though Johansson’s pro debut would end in defeat, he didn’t let that keep him down. In his following fight Johansson completely demolished Dimitris Dimitriadis, scoring a first round knockout win.
Since then Johansson has improved his current streak to two straight, finishing Finn Joona Hannula via first round TKO at FCR 18.
Häkkinen is currently one of the most promising prospects in Finland, with several strong accomplishments as ana amateur. He won his pro debut via first round submission and followed up with an emphatic performance against Djaba Murtazaliev, winnign via third round TKO. Following that Häkkinen finished hot prospect Martin Corney via first round submission in September.

FCR 19 will, amongst other things, feature the return of fan favourite Nabbe Malki – hot off the heels of his brutal first round TKO win over Maycon James. More big fights are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
