Fan favorites Christian “Lången” Stigenberg and Moe ”Slimboy” Ahmadi just clashed in a welterweight fight at FCR 19.
The first round started with pressure from “Lången” until Moe took the fight to the ground. After just one minute he secured a tight rear-naked-choke that eventually forced Stigenberg to tap.
With the win, Ahmadi moved to 6-5 as a pro fighter.
“Today was an emotional day for me. Mainly because of this fight. Last time I was here in this cage, last year, I hurt my leg in the fight. I lost the fight in my home. I told myself ‘I will never lose here again'”,Ahmadi said in the post-fight interview.
After the fight David Jacobsson entered the cage and challenged “Slimboy”, who accepted the fight.
“If my team says yes I will go for it,” Ahmadi said.
Fight Club Rush 19 takes place at Quality Hotel in Solna and marks the promotion’s third in the Swedish capital.
The card features 15 fights and is headlined by a bantamweight title fight where Spanish FCR veteran Hecher Sosa will take on Tuomas Grönvall for the promotion’s vacant belt.
