Swedish Muay Thai fighter Freddy “Krueger” Castro Gonzalez continues to win fights in Thailand.

This past weekend the talented Swede competed at the Rajadamnern World Series and defeated Japanese talent Yuto Numponthep.

Castro Gonzalez pushed the pace throughout the fight and was able to secure the win via decision.

Freddy Castro Gonzalez: “I should have knocked him out”

In a comment to Frontkick’s sister site Maximum Sports, the Swedish striker was disappointed with his performance.

“It wasn’t a good fight for me, I should have knocked him out in the first round,” Castro Gonzalez said. “But we won and that’s the most important thing!”

Since moving to Thailand in 2023, “Freddy Krueger” has racked up three wins and one loss in four fights.
