We just saw a super heavyweight fight between Sweden’s Irman Smajic and Spain’s Jose Jimenez at Allstars Fight Night 4 in Stockholm.
The two heavy-hitters met in the middle of the cage. Smajic was light on the feet, and landed a good leg kick to start with. The Spaniard did not get anything going before Irman pressed him up against the cage.
Smajic took the fight to the ground and landed ground-and-pound until the referee stopped the fight.
“It’s magic. My last fight didn’t go as I planned. I’m just so damn happy to be back in this,” Smajic said. “Ten years ago I stepped into this gym. I’m so happy that I ended up at Allstars.”
“If you put up a heavyweight belt I might fight again. I want a rematch with Nermin Hajdarpasic.”
In a message to Frontkick, Hajdarpasic said he accepts the challenge.
