Liam Pitts forced to pull out of fight at AFN 1

Liam Pitts is out of Saturday’s fight against Fabian Long at AFN 1 in Stockholm due to an undisclosed injury.

According to Frontkick’s and Maximum Sports’ sources, no replacement will be brought in but the fight could be rebooked for August.

Liam Pitts is 2-0 in MMA

Pitts comes from a win at FCR 16 on June 3. He’s 2-0 as an amateur MMA fighter.

AFN 1 will be the first of three events scheduled for this year. Allstars coach Mohammed Babadivand will act as promotor for the event and aims to give young prospects a solid platform to compete on.

“It will be different to the rest of the Swedish promotions, we want to take MMA to the next level,” Babadivand said.
