On Saturday Swedish amateur MMA fighter and TV personality Liam Pitts returns to action at Fight Club Rush 16 to face Enes Ahmemulic in the last fight on the prelims.
In a recent Instagram video, the young fighter promised to give the fans a great and exciting fight.
“I think that people underestimate my skills for sure. Just because they know who I am,” Pitts said. “It’s going to be out there pretty soon, maybe not this fight, maybe not the next fight, but very soon people will know where my level is at.”
“I think my opponent is a Swedish Champion in MMA. I mean, that’s good for him! I don’t really care about Swedish Championship, and stuff like that, in amateur, I don’t care about that. I’m a Swedish champion as well in wrestling, so how about that?”
Ahmemulic responds: “See you soon”
Pitts opponent Ahmemulic commented on the Instagram post stating:
“I only care about my next opponent, and that is you right now. I do not underestimate your skills. I have been training too hard and I hope that you have done so as well. See you soon.”
