Fast-growing thai boxing promotion Muay Thai For Life Series is back with it’s fifth event, MTFL 5.0, this Saturday in Partille Arena in Gothenburg, Sweden.

The event will be broadcasted through the DAZN streaming service, and the fight card features several high-level Muay Thai fighters as well as up-and-coming prospects.

Swedish standouts square off in headlining bouts

In the main event, Gothenburg-based Robin Sundlöf will take on Swedish Muay Thai champion and WBC Scandinavian title holder Kenny Hong in a five-round 65 kg catchweight bout between two of the best fighters in in Sweden.

The co-main event is another 65 kg contest where hometown favorite Nasim Kazem takes on the three-time Swedish champion Linus Bylander, who’s making his professional debut.

In a 81 kg catchweight bout, professional MMA fighter and former Swedish Muay Thai champion Christopher Bajo will return to the MTFL Series ring following a bonus-winning performance at MTFL 4.0 back in December. Bajo will take on former IFMA European champion Kleanthis Kuriakou.

Kim Falk makes Muay Thai For Life debut

Another standout fight on the card is a super lightweight contest where Kim Falk, a WBC Scandinavian champion and three-time Swedish champion with over 40 fights under his belt, makes his MTFL Series debut against Slovakian WMC intercontinental champion Lukas Mando Mandinec.

Furthermore, the fight card features a trilogy bout between Swedish rivals Anton Sjöqvist and Dalian Dawody, a super lightweight matchup where spectacular prospect and rising star Amir El-Dakkak faces Ali Mehrvash, a women’s atomweight fight between Lauren Kertesz and Jessica Jerrås and more.

The Muay Thai For Life 5.0 main card kicks off with a heavyweight fight between hard-hitting Nordic champ Joacim Nyberg and Swedish champion Anton Wall. The semi-pro preliminary card will not be televised.

Every main card fight is scheduled for three three-minute rounds except for the five-round Muay Thai For Life 5.0 headliner between Sundlöf and Hong.

The semi-pro prelims are scheduled for five two-minute rounds according to B-class rules.

Frontkick and Maximum Sports reporter Sebastian Vendel-Martinez and former pro fighter Dave Fensom will call the live action on DAZN’s broadcast. Chad Fishburne will serve as the evening’s ring announcer.
