Just like the UFC’s bantamweight division, the Swedish weight class is just about as stacked as it gets.
Still holding the No. 1 spot is Felipe Lima, even though he didn’t compete in 2022. Riding a ten-fight winning streak, including a crazy first-round flying knee to win the Fight Club Rush bantamweight title, the 24-year-old has a bright future ahead of him.
No. 2 ranked Ali Taleb is starting to become a name on the international scene with his wins in 2022. In July the undefeated fighter became UAE Warriors bantamweight champion as he knocked out Vinicius de Oliveira. In his last fight, Taleb took another big step as he submitted Darius Mafi in his PFL debut at the PFL 9: 2022 Playoffs.
On the No. 3 spot we see another champion in Bernardo Sopai, who won the vacant FCR bantamweight title as he knocked out Karlen Minasian at Fight Club Rush 13. The young fighter currently holds a professional record of 9-2, with eight wins coming by stoppage.
