Renato Vidovic, a two time IMMAF European champion and a top-three ranked pro flyweight in Sweden, was just featured as one of the best Swedish MMA prospect right now in a recent article on Frontkick.

And at today’s Zone Pro League 3 in Gothenburg, the rising star lived up to the hype once again.

Vidovic, who has over 40 fights worth of experience if you factor in his amateur career, faced off against Bellator and M-1 veteran Binh Son Le in a flyweight contest between two hometown fighters. The bout started off competitive as they were both feeling each other out before Vidovic secured the round with a well-timed double leg takedown and good control on the ground.

Renato Vidovic landed beautiful kicks in round two

In round two, Vidovic seemed more confident as we started to walk his opponent down. Out of nowhere, he then landed a solid front kick to the face and followed up with a nasty body kick that dropped Le to the ground shortly thereafter.

After landing four quick hammer fists on the ground, Vidovic was declared the winner by TKO as the referee stepped in at the 3:02 mark of round number two.

With the win, Fighter Centre’s Renato Vidovic moves to 4-1 as a pro and continues to make a good case as for why he should be considered the best flyweight in Sweden.

As for Binh Son Le, he has now lost three fights in a row and falls to 5-5 with one No Contest on his record.
