Renato Vidovic misses weight ahead of the flyweight title bout against Jonny Touma at Fight Club Rush 17. He missed the flyweight weight limit with one kilo.
Per FCR promotor Zlatko Ostrogonac all parties involved have now reached a solution.
Ostrogonac tells Frontkick.online that the fight will go ahead, yet only Touma will be eligible to win the title. Should Vidovic win he will get a victory on his record, but the title will still be vacant.
Something similar occurred at UFC 274 where Charles Oliveira missed weight ahead of his lightweight title defense against Justin Gaethje. Oliveira was stripped of the title with only Gaethje being able to win the championship belt.

Fight Club Rush 17 takes place on Saturday September 9 at Fyrishov Arena in Uppsala.
The undercard will be streamed by Aftonbladet+ with start time 15.15 CET. The main card is streamed by UFC Fight Pass with start time 18.00 CET.
