A new title fight has been officially confirmed for the upcoming Superior Challenge 27: Legends fight card in Stockholm, Sweden as middleweight champion Robin “Pretty Boy” Roos is set to defend his belt against MMA veteran Jonas Boeno.

Robin Roos trains at KRAFT Kampsport in Stockholm under former UFC fighter Nico Musoke. The 29-year-old prospect holds a 7-4 pro record and most recently captured the Superior Challenge title by knocking out Bellator vet Kevin Fryer with a head kick. All Roos’ wins have come by way of T/KO.

As for Jonas Boeno, the Brazilian challenger has more than 60 professional fights on his record, going 43-20 since turning pro back in 2007. The 38-year-old lost his last bout against Cezariusz Kesik by decision back in December. Before that, he choked out Patrick Quadros with a guillotine just a month earlier.

Superior Challenge 27 features three title bouts plus a super fight between Swedish legends

Superior Challenge 27: Legends goes down at Annexet in Stockholm on May 25. Besides Robin Roos vs Jonas Boeno, we’ll also see two other title fights on the same night.

Bellator fighter and reigning Superior Challenge light heavyweight champ “King” Karl Albrektsson is set to defend his strap against TUF, UFC- and PFL MMA vet Dan Spohn. Furthermore, bantamweight prospect Bartosz Wojcikiewicz will take on Vinicius Ferreira for the vacant title.

The main event is a super fight between Swedish legends where UFC veteran Papy Abedi returns to the cage to take on former Muay Thai and kickboxing champion Rickard Nordstrand, who will be fighting in MMA for the very first time.
