Amir Albazi is OUT of the main event against Brandon Moreno

Rising flyweight star Amir Albazi is out of his fight against former two-time champion Brandon Moreno. The bout was expected to take place on February 24 at Arena CDMX, in Mexico City, but Albazi had to pull out of the fight due to an injury.

Read his statement below.

“Im out of the fight against moreno 24th of february. I have been dealing with a serious neck injury the past weeks. After some scans the UFC doctors decided to pull me out of the fight immediately. I want to apologize to the fans and the UFC. I will be back inshallah,” Albazi wrote on X.

Former title challenger Brandon Royval will step in to face Moreno in the new main event.
