UFC results: Belal Muhammad avenges KO loss

UFC welterweights Vicente Luque and Belal Muhammad squared off in a five-round rematch at UFC Vegas 51 this evening. The first time No. 4 Luque and No. 5 Muhammad fought was in 2016. In that fight Luque knocked out Muhammad in under two minutes.

This time they both had their moments in a fight that went all five rounds. Luque landed some heavy shots, but Muhammad used his wrestling to outwork his opponent and won the fight via unanimous decision (49-46, 49-46, 49-47). With the win, ”Remember the name” is now one step closer to the titleshot.

In the co-main event middleweight Caio Borralho defeated Gadzhi Omargadzhiev by technical decision after three rounds.

On the prelims Swedish bantamweights Pannie Kinzad and Lina Lansberg fought three tough and bloody rounds, with Kianzad coming out as the winner.

$50,000 bonuses

As usual, a couple of fighters banked an extra $50,000 in bonuses.

The Fight of the Night bonus went to Mayra Bueno Silva and Wu Yanan. The Performance of the Night bonuses went to Drakkar Klose and  Andre Fialho.
