Charles “Do Bronx,” Oliveira was set to meet lightweight champion Islam Makhachev in a rematch for the lightweight title at UFC 294 in Abu Dhabi.
Unfortunately for the Brazilian, an injury has forced him out of the title fight.
The champion will now face featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski in the new main event. The two faced each other at UFC 284 in February, with Makhachev standing as the winner after five even rounds.
