Dana White reveals Donald Trump’s favorite UFC fighters

UFC president Dana White and former US president Donald Trump were watching the fights together at UFC 287 in Miami.

At the post-fight press conference, White was getting a question about how Trump is as a fight fan.

“This guy calls me twice a month and will talk to me for an hour about fighting. Things that have happened since the last time that we talked. And he knows everybody, what they did and who they fought last. He’s a huge fight fan.”

When asked who’s Trump’s favorite fighter, the UFC president looked amused.

“Three guesses,” White said with a smile. “Colby Covington and Jorge Masvidal. Masvidal and Covington.”

Dana White and Donald Trump known each other for years

Donald Trump is known to have a long friendship with UFC president Dana White and has attended many events staged by the world’s leading MMA promotion. He also knows welterweight contender Jorge Masvidal, who retired after his loss to Gilbert Burns.

“Greatest president in the history of the world, I love that guy,” Masvidal said in the post-fight interview with Joe Rigan.

The former US president Donald Trump is currently facing 34 felony counts in connection with a $130,000 hush-money payment to porn star Stormy Daniels before the 2016 election. Trump’s fixer, Michael D. Cohen, has claimed that he made the payment at the former president’s direction.

Trump pleaded not guilty on Tuesday.
