DWCS results: Hyped Glory Kickboxer falls short in tough fight

At last night’s Dana White’s Contender Series 60, three fighters earned their UFC contracts after impressing the president.

A welterweight contest between Mitch Ramirez and Carlos Prates served as the featured matchup of the night and in the second round Prates stopped his opponent with a highlight-reel walkoff knockout.

“I told Dana after my fight, I’m here to be the new welterweight star,” Prates said after the fight. “I can talk, I can win, I can knock people out. And guess what? I’m going to do everything.”

Yousri Belgaroui lost via unanimous decision

In the co-main events middleweight Marco Tulio defeated the hyped Glory Kickboxuer Yousri Belgaroui via unanimous decision with 30-27, 29-28 and 29-28 on the scorecards.

Howver, his performance was not convincing enough to earn a contract from the UFC president.

The three fighters winner a UFC contract at DWCS 60 are Carlos Prates, Bolaji Oki and Thomas Peterson.
