Former UFC champ returns for another replacement fight

Tatiana Suarez has a new opponent for the upcoming UFC event in Nashville as Virna Jandiroba withdrew from their fight.
Suarez will now face former strawweight champion Jessica Andrade who steps in on less than two months notice. The UFC announced the news of the matchup.
Andrade has already competed three times in 2023 and is looking to snap a losing skid after two straight losses to Yan Xiaonan and Erin Blanchfield.

Tatiana Suarez was gone nearly four years
Suarez made her long-awaited UFC return in February as she defeated Montana De La Rosa via a second-round submission after a nearly four-year absence from pro fighting.
Before her hiatus, she was considered to be one of the absolute most promising prospects in the strawweight division. She’s currently ranked at No. 10 in the division.
The Nashville event will be headlined by a high profile bantamweight bout between Cory Sandhagen and Umar Nurmagomedov. Check out the announced fights below!

- Flyweight bout: Tagir Ulanbekov vs. Jake Hadley
- Featherweight bout: Damon Jackson vs. Billy Quarantillo
- Light Heavyweight bout: Ovince Saint Preux vs. Ion Cuțelaba
- Lightweight bout: Ignacio Bahamondes vs. Ľudovít Klein
