Khamzat Chimaev has a new opponent for UFC 294 in Abu Dhabi.
”Borz” was originally scheduled to compete against Paulo Costa, but as the Brazilian was forced to pull out, former welterweight champion Kamaru Usman accepted the fight on short notice.
The fight will go on as a middleweight matchup.
Usman, who moves up to 185 lbs following back-to-back welterweight title fight losses to champion Leon Edwards, commented on the fight on social media.
UFC 294 will take place in Abu Dhabi on Saturday October 21.
