It looks like Guram “Georgian Viking” Kutateladze has his next fight booked.

Guram Kutateladze was forced to pull out of UFC 283

The “Georgian Viking” was scheduled to face Thiago Moisés at UFC 283 in January. However, just a few weeks before the fight, he withdrew due to a Staph infection.

The rising star is widely considered to be one of the best fighters outside the rankings in the stacked UFC lightweight division. At the moment, he has a UFC record of 1-1, with a total MMA record of 12-3.

In October 2020, Guram Kutateladze won a gruelling promotional debut against former KSW double champ, and current No. 7 ranked, Mateusz Gamrot. The entertaining back-and-forth fight was awarded with the 50 000 dollar Fight of the Night bonus.

In his last outing, in June 2022, the “Georgian Viking” fought another tough bout, this time against Damir Ismagulov. The fight could have gone either way, but in the end Ismagulov stood as the winner via a razor-thin split decision.
