Top ranked bantamweight Henry Cejudo and Marlon Vera will clash in a three-round bantamweight fight at UFC 292 in Boston.
The news of the matchup was first reported by ESPN’s Brett Okamoto.

The quick turnaround marks former champion Cejudo’s second fight since ending his 2020 retirement in May in a title bout against reigning champion Aljamain Sterling.
Vera wants to get back in the win column after a split-decision loss to Cory Sandhagen in March. The loss snapped a four-fight winning streak that included former UFC champions Frankie Edgar and Dominick Cruz.
UFC 292 takes place at the TD Garden In Boston, Massachusetts On August 19. The card is headlined by a bantamweight title bout between champion Aljamain Sterling and challenger Sean O’Malley.
The event also features a strawweight title bout where two-time champion Zhang Weili takes on challenger Amanda Lemos.
