UFC CEO Dana White recently revealed that welterweight champion Leon Edwards accepted no fewer than three opponents for UFC 300 in April.

According to MMA journalist Ariel Helwani, Edwards agreed to face UFC lightweight Champion Islam Makhachev, undefeated middleweight superstar Khamzat Chimaev and undefeated welterweight finisher Shavkat Rakhmonov.

The combined record of the three fighters is a staggering 56-1!

Instead of seeing Leon Edwards in the main event, however, the fans will get a light heavyweight title fight where reigning champion Alex Pereira will take on No. 1 ranked former champion Jamahal Hill in his first title defense.
