Veteran Derek Brunson is out of his middleweight fight against Swedish Jack Hermansson, however, the UFC has quickly found a replacement for Brunson.
According to ESPN, “The Joker” will now face unranked, but dangerous, Roman Dolidze instead.
The short notice replacement has a record of 11-1, with an impressive 5-1 in the promotion. He rides-an three fight winning streak, and last knocked out Phil Hawes less than a month ago.
Jack Hermansson comes from a win against Chris Curtis at UFC London in July, Curtis was also a short notice replacement, since Darren Till was forced to pull out of the scheduled fight. However, “The Joker” fought a great fight from the outside, keeping his frustrated opponent at bay.
Jack Hermansson is currently ranked No. 8 in the middleweight division.
