Even though N0. 10 ranked veteran Jack Hermansson has been one of the top UFC middleweights for many years, he’s still the underdog going into Saturday’s five-round fight against Joe Pyfer.

The Swede claimed to not be that surprised at Pyfer, who’s got five straight stoppage wins, being the favored fighter.

“Once in a while, those guys are coming up with a lot of hype and, you know, they need to find someone a little bit better to settle that hype down a little bit, so, and then they might not be as much of a favorite in their next fight,” Hermansson told Bjpenndotcom. “So, it happens all the time that these younger killers are looking really, really good until they get up there [in the rankings].”

The “Joker” believes that Pyfer will try to come out hard from the start of the fight, relying on his power.

“So, the plan is to not get hit and hit him a lot,” Hermansson said.
