Josefine Knutsson won a clear-cut decision in UFC debut

Josefine Knutsson, widely-considered one of the best prospects in Europe and potentially even a future champ according to some, is currently 7-0 in her professional MMA career.

The Allstars prospect made a name for herself in kickboxing before switching to mixed martial arts, and she’s pretty much dominated every MMA fight thus far except a close split decision win over fellow striker Jacinta Austin last year in UAE Warriors.

Knutsson won fights in “Road to UFC” as well as Dana White’s Contender Series before making her UFC debut last September, defeating Marnic Mann by clear-cut unanimous decision.

As for Julia Polastri, the Brazilian is 12-3 in MMA and 1-1 in DWCS. After losing her first fight in front of Dana White against current UFC fighter Jasmine Jasudavicius, Polastri bounced back with three wins in a row before getting another shot in the Contender Series where she submitted Patricia Alujas to earn a contract.
