Title fight hungry Kai Kara-France intends to steal Amir Albazi’s momentum

In Saturday’s main event, top ranked UFC flyweight Kai Kara-France intends to bounce back from his interim title fight loss last July.

”I’m looking forward to reminding everyone and showing why I deserve to have another title shot,” Kara-France said at Wednesday’s UFC on ESPN 45 media day.

Across him in the octagon stands rising prospect Amir Albazi, who’s undefeated in the promotion with four straight wins.

“Amir was the guy who was closest to my ranking and available, so these contenders that are on win streaks with momentum and hype, they want to take my spot,” Kara-France said and continued.

“I’m No. 3 and I welcome it. I want to fight the best guys. He’s a great fighter, he’s a great grappler, great wrestlers. He’s got momentum, but I’m here to take all that. I’m here to show him that there’s levels to this and that’s what I’m going to be doing on Saturday.”
