UFC star Khamzat Chimaev leaves Sweden, represents UAE

According to Frontkick’s sister page Maximum Sports, Swedish-Chechen UFC star Khamzat Chimaev has decided to leave Sweden to move to Abu Dhabi. “Borz” now represents the United Arab Emirates on the UFC website.

However, Chimaev will not cut his ties with Allstars Training Center completely since the gym’s BJJ coach Alan ”Finfou” Nascimento is training him in Dubai.

Khamzat will face Paulo Costa in Abu Dhabi

With the move to the United Arab Emirates, Khamzat Chimaev will have the crowd’s support more than ever in his next fight at UFC 294 in Abu Dhabi.

“Borz” will move up to middleweight to face top ranked Brazilian star Paulo Costa in the co-main event of the evening.

Chimaev is undefeated as a pro fighter with a record of 12-0. Of his six wins in the UFC, five came via stoppage.
