The UFC seem to have a problem booking a fitting main event for the stacked UFC 300.
There has lately been rumours that undefeated UFC star Khamzat Chimaev would headline the card. Chimaev recently shoot the rumours down, however, since the card clashes with Ramadan.
“I will fight everybody,” Chimaev told MMA Uncensored. “Leon [Edwards], [Dricus] du Plessis, anyone, but not [during] Ramadan. I think Ramadan [is during] UFC 300.”
“Maybe somebody in Saudi Arabia. I want to fight there. Not fighting in Ramadan anymore.”
The UFC 300 will take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Saturday April 13. Even though there is no main event booked, the card has two title fights.
