Tough loss for Lina ”Elbow Queen” Länsberg at UFC 280

The No. 12 ranked Swedish bantamweight Lina Länsberg just faced No. 9 ranked Karol Rosa at UFC 280 in Abu Dhabi.

Länsberg opened strong, knocking down her opponent in the first minute, but the Brazilian was able to get up. Rosa landed a takedown at midpoint of the round, but was not able to capitalize on the position.

In the second round, Rosa took down Länsberg straight away. With 1.37 left of the round, the Brazikian landed an illegal knee when Lina Länsberg was grounded. The fight was paused and the referee took one point from Rosa.

The majority of round 3 was spent against the cage. With two minutes left of the fight, both fighters unloaded heavy shots. In the end, the judges gave the win to Rosa via majority decision (29-27, 29-27, 28-28).
