Swedish bantamweight Lina “Elbow Queen” Länsberg is ready for a new fight in the UFC.

On October 22, she will face the tough Karol Rosa at UFC 280 in Abu Dhabi. The bantamweights are tied at No. 12 in the bantamweight rankings.

Lina Länsberg has tons of experience

The seasoned striker Lina Länsberg has tons of experience from facing top level competition like Cris Cyborg, Sara McMann and Yana Kunitskaya. She is 2-2 in her last fights, with wins over Tonya Evinger and Macy Chiasson. Länsberg made her promotional debut in catchweight (140 lbs) against Cris Cyborg in September 2016.

Before the MMA career, the Swede made her name as a ferocious Muay Thai fighter and claimed international success with two gold medals at the IFMA World Championship. Länsberg is dangerous in the clinch and most certainly lives up to her nickname “The Elbow Queen”.

Karol Rosa lost a unanimous decision in her last fight against Sara McMann in March. Before that she was undefeated in the UFC with four straight wins against Lara Procópio, Vanessa Melo, Joselyne Edwards and Bethe Correia. She made her promotional debut in August 2019.

The most stacked card of the year?

UFC 280 looks to be the most stacked card of 2022. The event is headlined by a lightweight title bout between former champion Charles Oliveira and challenger Islam Makhachev.

The card also features a bantamweight title bout between champion Aljamain Sterling and former two-time champion T.J. Dillashaw.

A pivotal welterweight bout between Sean Brady and Belal Muhammad will also take place in Abu Dhabi.
