Former lightweight champion Charles Oliveira returns at UFC 288 to face top ranked contender Beneil Dariush. The event will take place on May 6, but does not have a confirmed venue or location.
Oliveira, who recently announced the fight on Instagram, comes from a title loss against current champion Islam Makhachev in October, while No. 4 ranked Dariush rides an eight-fight winning streak that includes wins over Mateusz Gamrot, Tony Ferguson and Drakkar Klose.
The winner of the pivotal fight could very well be competing for the lightweight strap next.
Jailton Almeida vs. Jairzinho Rozenstruik

Heavyweight prospect Jailton Almeida is set for his biggest fight of his career as he faces No. 9 ranked Jairzinho Rozenstruik on May 13.
With stoppage wins in all his four UFC fights, Almeida has quickly established himself as one of the hottest prospects in the promotion.
His heavy-hitting opponent Rozenstruik comes from a knockout victory against Chris Daukaus at UFC 282. His UFC resume includes several finishes under 30 seconds.

Strawweights Mackenzie Dern and Angela Hill will clash at UFC Fight Night on May 13.
No. 7 rankedDern has won five of her past seven fights and comes from a loss to Yan Xiaonan in October, while 38-year-old veteran Hill comes from back-to-back unanimous decision wins over Loopy Godinez and Emily Ducote.
Karolina Kowalkiewicz vs. Vanessa Demopoulos

Karolina Kowalkiewicz will take on Vanessa Demopoulos on May 20. MMA Ideas was first to report the news of the matchup.
Kowalkiewicz has back-to-back wins against Felice Herrig and Silvana Gomez Juarez, while Demopoulos rides a three-fight winning streak.
Tanner Boser vs. Ion Cutelaba

Tanner Boser returns to light heavyweight to face Ion Cutelaba on April 15 in Kansas City.
The Canadian fighter has one win in his last four fights and comes from a split decision loss to Rodrigo Nascimento this past September. Cutelaba is 5-1-1 in his last seven UFC fights, and in desperate need of a win.
A featherweight bout between Max Holloway and Arnold Allen will headline the card.
