Moicano out – new main event finally set for UFC Vegas 72!

Ranked bantamweights Ricky Simon and Song Yadong were just a few days away from fighting in the co-main event at UFC Vegas 71 but instead the bout is bumped to the main event at UFC Vegas 72 on April 29.
The new bantamweight main event is scheduled for five rounds.
Simon rides a five-fight winning streak that includes stoppage wins against Raphael Assunca and Jack Shoreo, while Yadong comes from a loss against Cory Sandhagen.
UFC announced the news on Monday after Renato Moicano was forced to pull out of the originally scheduled lightweight main event against Arman Tsarukyan.

- Heavyweight bout: Martin Buday vs. Jake Collier
- Featherweight bout: Julian Erosa vs. Fernando Padilla
- Lightweight bout: Natan Levy vs. Pete Rodriguez
- Flyweight bout: Cody Durden vs. Charles Johnson
- Women’s bantamweight bout: Stephanie Egger vs. Irina Alekseeva
- Bantamweight bout: Brian Kelleher vs. Journey Newson
- Women’s bantamweight Hailey Cowan vs. Jamey-Lyn Horth
