After successfully making weight at 156 pounds on Friday’s weigh-ins, Paddy “The Baddy” Pimblett took the moment to deliver a strong message to all who “fat-shamed” and criticised him for his diet.
“For everyone that tried to fat shame me and said I’d miss weight or fucking pull out, kiss my ass,” Pimblett said before mooning the cameras and reporters.
Fan favourite Paddy Pimblett is undefeated in the UFC
Paddy Pimlett will be a massive fan favourite when he faces Jordan “The Monkey King” Leavitt in tomorrows main card fight in London. This will be the 27-year-old Liverpool fighter’s third appearance in the octagon since his debut against Luigi Vendramini on September 4 last year. A fight he won by knockout in the first round. In his second UFC fight, he submitted Rodrigo Vargas in the first round. All in all, Pimlett has a professional record of 18-3.
His opponent, “The Monkey King”, steps into the octagon with two straight wins against Matt Sayles and Trey Ogden. He made a successful promotional debut in December 2020, with a first round KO-win over Matt Wiman. The victory earned him the Performance of the Night award.
