Paulo Costa firing shots in just about every direction at the moment. Just a few hours ago, the Brazilian middleweight was involved in a heated altercation with Khamzat Chimaev at the UFC Performance Institute.
Now, ”Borrachinha” claims he can beat both Chimaev and No. 1 ranked middleweight Robert ”Bobby Knuckles” Whittaker with minimum effort.
”I can beat Whittaker and gourmet Chen Chen chimaev at same round by de way,” Costa recently wrote.
Paulo Costa is back in the win column again after beating Luke Rockhold in the UFC 278 co-main event a few weeks ago. This was the Brazilians first win since he defeated Yoel Romero via unanimous decision in Fight of the Night-winning three-rounder in August 2019.
In a video posted yesterday, the top ranked Brazilian middleweight made it clear that he’s looking to face ”Borz” or Whittaker next.
“So if Chimaev beats Nate Diaz we can do this for my next one. It will be great as well. We have a lot of good fights to make. Chimaev, of course, if he beats Nate Diaz will be great, or Robert Whittaker for my next one,” Costa said.
