According to Ovince Saint Preux, Alexander Gustafsson has pulled out of their fight at UFC 282 on December 10. Saint Preux revealed the news himself on his OnlyFans account. The news has been confirmed by MMAJunkie.
Neither Gustafsson’s team or the UFC has not yet made any announcements, and so far no reason for Gustafsson’s reported withdrawal is given.
According to Saint Preux, he will now face former PFL champion Philipe Lins at UFC 282.
The Brazilian 37-year-old made his promotional debut in 2020, and has a professional record of 15-5, with 1-2 UFC. In April, Lins returned after a two-year layoff to win his first UFC fight, defeating Marcin Prachnio via unanimous decision.
Before that, he lost twice in heavyweight to Andrei Arlovski and Tanner Boser.
