Two-time champ Rose Namajunas makes flyweight debut at UFC Paris

Former two-time strawweight champion Rose Namajunas will make her flyweight debut against Manon Fiorot at UFC Paris. That’s according to reports from MMA Junkie.

This will be Namajunas’ first fight since she lost the strawweight title to Carla Esparza in May 2022 at UFC 274.

Fiorot recently signed a new multi-fight deal with the UFC, and returns to action after knee surgery. The french striker unbeaten in the UFC and comes from a win against former title challenger Katlyn Chookagian.

UFC Paris with Rose Namajunas

UFC Paris takes place on September 2 at the Accor Arena in Paris. The card is headlined by a high profile heavyweight fight between Ciryl Gane and Serghei Spivac.

• Women’s bantamweight bout: Nora Cornolle vs. Joselyne Edwards
• Women’s bantamweight bout: Hailey Cowan vs. Zarah Fairn
• Light heavyweight bout: Azamat Murzakanov vs. Volkan Oezdemir
• Women’s flyweight bout: Manon Fiorot vs. Rose Namajunas
