UFC fighter arrested, charged with battery after domestic incident

UFC middleweight fighter Sedriques Dumas was arrested early Tuesday morning after a woman called the police on him, leading to a confrontation with the police in Escambia County, Florida.

The 28-year-old, was charged with felony battery, according to Escambia County jail records and was held without bond. He is scheduled for a March 5 court date.

The UFC fighter live-streamed his confrontation with two Escambia County Sheriff’s officers on Facebook.

Dumas’ online records show he’s been arrested 12 times since 2014.

Sedriques Dumas has been in the UFC since 2022

Dumas (9-1) is 2-1 in the UFC and comes from a unanimous decision win against Abu Azaitar at UFC 294 in October.

He got a contract through Dana White’s Contender Series in 2022.
