After a number of injuries that have postponed her return, strawweight prospect Tatiana Suarez will finally make her octagon comeback on February 25.

At UFC Vegas 70 she will take on Montana De La Rosa in a flyweight bout, which will be her first octagon appearance since June 2019.

In a new interview with The Schmo, the 32-year-old claimed she’s looking to stay busy over the next 12 months.

“I will ask for a fight at 115, hopefully around July,” Suarez said. And then again in November. I’ll try to get at least three fights.”

Since the prospect was out of competition for more than three and a half years, she feels like she’s missed out on a lot of fighting.

“I honestly feel like by now, I should’ve had like 18 fights or something, and I only have 11.”

Tatiana Suarez wants Rose Namajunas next

Former two-time strawweight champion “Thug” Rose Namajunas is rumored to move up a weight class to flyweight. That’s a fight Tatiana Suarez is more than happy to take.

“I wouldn’t mind making that my next fight at 125. If I’m being honest I would love that fight at any weight class, because I do believe that I can beat her. I believe that one hundred percent,” Suarez said. “I think that my grappling is so superior to her grappling, and I think I’ll make it a nightmare for her at either weight class. I’d be stronger at 125 and 115.”
