Best Alex Pereira knockouts. Photo via Twitter (UFC)
Alex Pereira is arguably the biggest star of the UFC at the moment, well on his way to establishing himself as one of the most entertaining fighters in company history.
One of the key ingredients to stardom is his devastating ability to knock out opponents cold.
Let’s take a closer look at some of ”Poatan’s” best KO’s in the UFC!
5. Alex Pereira vs. Israel Adesanya – UFC 281
Maybe not the cleanest, but surely the most important knockout of Pereira’s MMA career took place at UFC 281 in November 2022.
It took ”Poatan” more than 20 minutes to find the opportunity to stop long-time rival Israel Adesanya, but when the chance came, he knocked out Adesanya in ruthless fashion.
4. Alex Pereira vs. Jamahal Hill – UFC 300
When former champion Jamahal Hill landed an early low blow, Pereria brushed referee Herb Dean to the side and stepped in with a devastating left hook that pretty much finished the fight. A modern classic!
3. Alex Pereira vs. Sean Strickland – UFC 276
Sean Strickland’s plan to stand and bang with a two-division Glory Kickboxing champion wasn’t the smartest move.
Pereira’s remarkable left hook found its mark early and that was pretty much it. Strickland was supposed to be a step up in competition, but ”Poatan” showed that there’s levels to striking.
2. Alex Pereira vs. Andreas Michailidis – UFC 268
Pereira took on Andreas Michailidis in his first fight in the world’s leading MMA organization.
After a tough first round, ”Poatan” showed that he was well worth signing as he knocked out Michailidis with a flush flying knee.
1. Alex Pereira vs. Jiri Prochazka – UFC 303
Jiri Prochazka was saved by the bell in the first round. However, just seconds into the second round, Alex Pereira landed perhaps the cleanest head kicks we’ve seen in a title fight since Leon Edwards stopped Kamaru Usman back in 2022. True poetry in motion!
