Flyweights Tracy Cortez and Amanda Ribas is set to fight at a UFC event this winter. The fight was first reported by ESPN Deportes. The bout will take place on December 3, but UFC has not announced a location or venue yet.
The Brazilian fighter Amanda Ribas has two losses in her last three fights, but the defeats came against game opponents in No. 3 ranked strawweight Marina Rodriguez and No. 1 ranked flyweight Katlyn Chookagian. Since making her UFC debut back in June 2019, she is 5-2.
The 28-year-old’s most notable wins came against Randa Markos, Paige VanZant and No. 4 ranked strawweight Mackenzie Dern.
No. 14 ranked flyweight Tracy Cortez lost her MMA debut in August 2017, but won all of her ten fights since then. The 28-year-old made her UFC debut in 2019 and is undefeated in the organization.
She has unanimous decision wins over Vanessa Melo, Stephanie Egger, and Melissa Gatto, as well as a split decision win over veteran Justine Kish.
