UFC legend Frankie Edgar has retired from MMA.
UFC legend Frankie Edgar just clashed with Chris Gutierrez in his farewell fight at the Madison Square Garden in New York.
Right from the start, Gutierrez, who’s the bigger fighter, was leading the fight. He landed crisp punches and good leg kicks before dropping Edgar with a clean knee to the head.

Frankie Edgar: ”I love this sport man”
In the post fight interview, a disappointed, but okay, legend commented on the loss.
”I love this sport, man. I did not want to go out like that. I got my family here, that’s all that matters,” Edgar said.
Frankie Edgar retired with a record of 24-11-1. He won the UFC lightweight title when he defeated B.J. Penn at UFC 112 on April 10, 2010. During his successful UFC career, Edgar fought in three weight classes, facing the absolute elite in every division, including opponents like Charles Oliveira, José Aldo, Max Holloway, Yair Rodríguez, Brian Ortega and Cory Sandhagen.
